Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Completion Signature ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including trial users, paid subscribers, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

Completion Signature is an AI-powered brand creation and management platform offering:

  • AI Logo Designer — Generate icon-based and letter-based logos with palette variations and PNG/SVG exports
  • Social Media Content Generator — AI-generated posts, captions, hashtags, and multi-platform scheduling
  • Content Calendar & Auto-Scheduler — Drag-and-drop scheduling with AI-optimised posting times
  • Holiday & Special Days Calendar — Automated branded poster generation for SA public holidays and special days
  • Website Creator — Full website builder with custom domain support and lead capture
  • Brand Kit Generator — AI-generated colour palettes, typography guides, and brand voice profiles
  • Product Mockups — Place logos on realistic product mockups (T-shirts, mugs, packaging, etc.)
  • Image Enhancer — AI upscaling (up to 4096px), background removal, and enhancement
  • Asset Library — Cloud storage for brand files, images, and documents
  • Team Collaboration — Multi-seat access with roles and permissions
  • Link Pages — Custom public-facing link-in-bio pages
  • Brand Score — AI analysis of your brand's digital presence

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Trial Plan: A free 14-day trial is available. No credit card is required to start. Trial access includes most features with usage limits.

Paid Plans: Paid subscriptions (Basic, Pro, Premium) are billed in South African Rand (ZAR) via Payfast or Paystack. Pricing is displayed at sign-up and may change with reasonable notice.

Billing Cycles: Plans are billed monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on the selected option.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused periods unless required by law.

Refunds: Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 7 days of a charge if you believe there is an error.

Usage Limits: Each plan has monthly usage limits per feature (logos, social posts, websites, etc.). Exceeding limits may require a plan upgrade.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any South African law
  • Generate content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or infringes third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the Platform
  • Use AI outputs to mislead, deceive, or defraud others
  • Share account credentials or resell access to the Platform
  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Overload or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure

6. AI-Generated Content & Intellectual Property

Ownership: Content you generate (logos, posts, websites, images, etc.) is owned by you, subject to the licences of the underlying AI providers.

No Guarantee of Uniqueness: AI-generated outputs may be similar to content generated for other users. We do not guarantee that logos or content are unique or eligible for trademark registration.

Commercial Use: You may use generated content for commercial purposes. You warrant that your use does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

Platform IP: The Platform, its code, UI, brand, and underlying technology remain the property of Completion Signature. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. User Content

By uploading content (logos, images, documents) to the Platform, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded files.

8. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Zernio (social publishing), Payfast, Paystack, Stripe, and AI generation APIs. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for third-party service outages or failures.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for AI-generated content that is inaccurate, offensive, or unsuitable for your purposes

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act, South Africa).

11. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen outages may occur. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay. Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
